For my first foray into electronic music, I have composed Sprinkilicious, a set of variations on a theme for electronic synthesizers. The theme takes on two distinct personalities in the slow and fast variations. I utilized the software instruments and synthesizer automation functionality in Logic Pro to produce different tone colors in each variation. The beguiling melody and funkilicious chord changes propel the piece through to an explosive finish.
